Handwoven from silver plated copper wire and naturally dyed indigo, Tide #2 measures approximately 43cm wide by 170cm long.

The entire warp (all the tension threads) is made from wire, with linen, naturally dyed with indigo, ranging from inky dark at the top, to icy light blues, running through the weft in a colour gradient all the way to a solid silver base, where the warp threads have been twisted into entangled tendrils.

The colour, interlaced with the silver gives the piece an all over iridescent finish which is highlighted by the 3D ripples where the material had been invisibly fixed to the transparent recycled acrylic mount.
