A Yellow Lab standing in the wetlands, waiting for the next shot—it’s a scene that just makes sense. There’s no rush, no wasted movement, just that steady, patient focus that Labs seem to be born with. I wanted this drawing to feel like that moment: simple, familiar, and real. It leans on the look of classic hunting prints but keeps things a little looser, with brushstrokes that feel more in the moment. Less polished, more like a memory.

This is the kind of piece that just settles in wherever you put it. It’s got enough of that traditional sporting feel to fit alongside the old-school prints, but the brushwork keeps it from feeling too formal. Home office, living room, wherever—it works. If you’ve ever spent time watching a Lab do what it was bred to do, you’ll get it.

Choosing the best size and shape for your space:
The scaling shown in lifestyle photos is approximate. I strongly suggest that you measure your space before you order. Check out my scaling and cropping guides in the product pictures. All of my prints come in common ready-made frame sizes.

How it's packed:
Each print comes rolled in a tube. It's easy to get it to lay flat when it arrives by following the tutorial on my blog.

Return / Exchange Policy:
Each piece is printed to order, and as such all sales are final. If your print is damaged in shipping, I'll gladly replace it.
