Walter is a big, hulking wolf seen wandering around Maple Mountain carrying logs to fuel his and his neighbors' homes when the weather is cold. Despite his size and appearance, he is very gentle and caring, making sure all the smaller residents of Sharewood Forest are safe. He volunteers as a school crossing guard and ensures the little ones get safely where they need to go. Though young, he acts as the neighborhood handyman, helping residents live comfortably.
