A collaboration with the ancestors, Louie Gong (Nooksack) brings his iconic design to our Coast Salish Pattern Gold Label Scarf. Louie created this powerful design after researching traditional Coast Salish weaving. Although our scarves are woven with modern technology, it was important to Louie to create a design that could also be replicated with traditional Coast Salish weaving techniques. Made from 100% Merino wool, Louie's scarf is the perfect merge of warmth, durability, breathability, and comfort.
Coast Salish art is rarely represented in contemporary textiles, and Louie is proud to help push this particular, often overlooked form to the forefront of Native art and product offerings.
