"Our gill nets are traditionally made of cedar bark, nettles, and other natural fibers," shares Andrea, "and were and are a valuable tool to feed our families and catch fish to barter. The stars in the water are phosphorous (the glow from bioluminescent plankton), which shows itself after a full moon and helps our fisherman. The moon and stars in the sky are tied to the pull of the tide stars underwater: nature's way of working together in unity."
