The 3-inch auger bit features 12 to 18 inches of tough 10-gauge flighting on a 5/8-inch solid steel shaft and fits standard ½-inch chucked drills. For hard clay, rocky, or sandy soils, choose the Heavy Duty option — fitted with a military-grade abrasion-resistant replaceable tip for longer-lasting performance.
