Fred Go is the easiest way to start tracking your dog. There's no new app to learn: it works with Apple Find My on iPhone or Android Find Hub, the apps already on your phone. Clip it to the collar and pair it once.
When your dog is nearby, tap Play sound and Fred Go beeps so you can find them in the backyard or the dog park. If they wander further, the app shows their last known location, reported by nearby phones on the same network.
It's a dog tracker with no subscription and no account, IP65 splash resistant for wet walks, and only 10g. A metal loop is included, and it fits the full eDog Fred collar range.
Finds them through Find My or Find Hub: Uses the app already on your iPhone/Android.
Beeps on demand: When Fred Go is nearby, tap Play sound in the app and it beeps, so you can track down exactly where it's hiding.
Free to use, with no subscription: Pair it once and you're tracking, with nothing to pay each month.
Clips on out of the box: A metal loop is included, so Fred Go goes straight onto a collar with no extra accessory needed.
Splash resistant (IP65): Shrugs off rain, mud and the odd puddle. For swimming, add the waterproof collar case.
Battery you swap yourself: Runs on a standard 3V CR2032 coin cell. When it runs low, pop in a new one. No charging cables to hunt for.
Works with the full eDog collar range: Waterproof cases, tactical nylon collars, leather cases and more.

Fred Go uses Apple's Find My or Android’s Find Hub network to locate your dog. Once it's paired to your phone, it works in two ways. When your dog is within Bluetooth range (around 15 metres), Fred Go shows as "With you" or "Nearby", and you can tap Play sound to make it beep and pinpoint it.
When they wander further off, any other phone in the network that passes nearby quietly updates Fred Go's last known location, so you always have a spot to start looking. It's a finder rather than a live GPS unit, so it works best in areas with people, and phones, around.
Open Apple Find My (iPhone) or download Android Find Hub. On most phones it's already there.
Open the app and add a new device, then follow the prompts to pair Fred Go.
Clip Fred Go onto your dog's collar using the included metal loop, or slot it into an eDog collar accessory.
Open the app any time to see your dog's location, or their last known spot if they're out of range.
When you're close, tap Play sound to make Fred Go beep and pinpoint it.
When the battery runs low, twist Fred Go open and drop in a fresh CR2032 coin cell.
FAQs
How do GPS trackers work, and is Fred Go one?
A GPS tracker uses satellites to work out its position, then sends that location to your phone over the mobile network, which is why it needs a SIM. Fred Go is different: it's a Bluetooth tracker. It has no GPS chip, so nearby phones on the Apple Find My or Android Find Hub network report its location for you.
Does Fred Go work with both iPhone and Android?
Yes, but one at a time. Pair it with Apple Find My or Android Find Hub. If you want both networks at once and 3-day location history, choose Fred Pro.
What's the difference between Fred Go and Fred Pro?
Fred Go uses the app already on your phone and shows the last known location. Fred Pro uses the MyTag app with both Apple and Android networks at once, keeps 3 days of history and can be shared with up to 12 people.
Is Fred Go waterproof?
It's IP65 splash resistant: fine in rain and mud, but not for swimming. Add a waterproof case for dogs that love the water.
