Saint Justin Martyr Black Pulpit Fall with Vertical Gold Orphrey Bands

Design Style 1341

The Saint Justin Martyr Black Pulpit Fall with Vertical Gold Orphrey Bands combines reverence, craftsmanship, and beauty in one dignified design.

Made from luxurious Black European Brocade, this pulpit fall features vertical black and gold orphrey bands along both side edges, accented with black and gold dice braid trim and a black fringe hem. The symmetry of the vertical orphreys draws the eye upward—symbolizing prayer, hope, and the soul’s ascent toward God.

Perfect for All Souls Day, Funerals, Ash Wednesday, and Good Friday, this pulpit hanging brings a refined solemnity to any sanctuary setting. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA from the finest European fabrics to ensure enduring beauty and faithful service for years to come.

✝️ Symbolism

The black fabric signifies mourning, humility, and reflection on Christ’s Passion, while the gold accents represent divine victory and eternal life. The vertical orphrey bands remind us to lift our eyes toward Heaven—just as the Church calls us to look beyond death to the promise of resurrection.
