Why 100% Non-Blended Bamboo Makes All the Difference

Many “bamboo” quilt covers on the market are actually 30–40% polyester blends — which trap heat, pill faster, and lose their softness after a few washes. Ours are 100% pure bamboo, zero blending. That means:

Genuinely thermo-regulating: Naturally keeps you 2–3° cooler in summer and cosy and warm in winter — no more kicking off the covers at 3am.
Truly hypoallergenic: Naturally resistant to dust mites, bacteria, and allergens — ideal for sensitive skin, eczema, and asthma sufferers.
Silky-soft & gets better with every wash: Pure bamboo fibre is finer than cotton, delivering a luxurious drape that only improves over time.
Moisture-wicking: Draws perspiration away from your body for a fresher, drier sleep — especially beneficial for hot sleepers and menopause relief.
Durable & long-lasting: Bamboo fibre is three times stronger than cotton, so your quilt cover stays beautiful for years, not months.
OEKO-TEX® certified: Free from harmful chemicals and toxins — safe for the whole family including babies and children.
Sustainably sourced: Ethically harvested bamboo — a rapidly renewable resource that’s kind to the planet.

Designed for Australian Bedrooms & Climates

From Brisbane summers to Melbourne winters, bamboo’s natural thermo-regulation makes it the ideal year-round bedding choice for Australia’s varied climate. Available in 6 spa-inspired colours — each designed to complement both contemporary and classic bedroom aesthetics.

Effortless Care

Wash: Gentle machine wash, cold or 30°C, with mild liquid detergent.
Dry: Line dry in the shade for best results. Avoid the dryer where possible.
Avoid: Bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemicals — these break down bamboo fibres over time.
Tip: Wash separately from towels and items with zippers to prevent pilling.

What Our Customers Are Saying

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"I’ve tried so many quilt covers over the years and nothing comes close to this. The bamboo is genuinely silky — not that scratchy ‘bamboo blend’ you find everywhere else. I bought the Slate Queen and it looks absolutely stunning on my bed. Already ordered a second set in Silver Shimmer."
— Amanda R., Melbourne

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"As a hot sleeper I was sceptical, but these have genuinely changed how I sleep. Cool in summer, warm enough in winter — I haven’t touched my old doona since. The Striped Dove Grey is gorgeous and the quality is outstanding for the price."
— Daniel T., Brisbane

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Bought the Blush Single set for my teenage daughter who has eczema. She’s been sleeping so much better — no more itching or irritation overnight. The fabric is incredibly soft and has washed beautifully three times now with no pilling or fading."

FAQs — Bamboo Quilt Cover Sets

Is this quilt cover 100% bamboo, or a blend? 100% non-blended bamboo. Many "bamboo" quilt covers on the market are actually 30–40% polyester blends, which trap heat and pill faster — ours contain no synthetic blend.

Will it keep me cool in summer and warm in winter? Yes. Pure bamboo fibre is naturally thermo-regulating, keeping you around 2–3°C cooler in summer while still providing warmth in winter without overheating.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin or eczema? Yes. It's naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it's free from harmful chemicals — commonly recommended for eczema, psoriasis, asthma, and general sensitive skin.

What's included in the set? The quilt cover plus matching pillowcases, made from the same 100% organic bamboo fabric.

How many pillowcases are included?

King and Queen sets include 2 pillowcases. Double and Single sets include 1 pillowcase. All pillowcases are standard size and made from the same 100% organic bamboo fabric as the quilt cover.

What sizes are available? King, Queen, Double, King Single, and Single — see the size guide on this page for exact measurements.

Is this quilt cover set 100% bamboo or a blend?

100% non-blended organic bamboo — no polyester, no cotton, no synthetic fibres. Many cheaper “bamboo” quilt covers on the market are 30–40% polyester blends that trap heat and lose softness quickly. Ours are pure bamboo, which is why they feel genuinely different from the first night.

Are bamboo quilt covers suitable for hot sleepers?

Yes — they’re one of the best options available for hot sleepers. Pure bamboo fibre is naturally thermo-regulating and moisture-wicking, staying 2–3 degrees cooler than cotton. Unlike polyester blends that trap body heat, 100% bamboo allows air to circulate freely, keeping you cool and dry all night. They’re also widely recommended for menopause-related night sweats.

Are these quilt covers good for sensitive skin and allergies?

Absolutely. Our bamboo quilt covers are naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and resistant to dust mites — making them ideal for people with sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, asthma, or allergies. They’re also OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they’re completely free from harmful chemicals and toxins, making them safe for children and babies too.

What sizes are available and what are the dimensions?

We offer Single, Queen, and King sizes. Standard Australian dimensions apply — please check your quilt/doona dimensions before ordering. If you’re unsure which size to choose, our team is happy to help via the contact page.

Can I use this quilt cover with any doona or quilt insert?

Yes — our quilt covers are designed to fit standard Australian doona inserts in the corresponding size. They feature a button or zip closure (depending on the colour) for easy insert changes and washing.

How do I wash and care for my bamboo quilt cover?

Wash on a gentle cycle in cold or 30°C water with a mild liquid detergent. Always wash separately from towels, denim, or items with zippers to prevent pilling. Line dry in the shade where possible — avoid the dryer as heat can shrink bamboo fibres. Never use bleach or fabric softeners, which degrade the bamboo over time.

How does bamboo compare to cotton quilt covers?

Bamboo fibre is three times stronger than cotton and significantly softer — equivalent in feel to 600–1000 thread count cotton, but at a fraction of the weight. Unlike cotton, bamboo is naturally thermo-regulating, moisture-wicking, and hypoallergenic. Bamboo quilt covers also tend to last longer and get softer with each wash, rather than becoming rough or pilling like lower-quality cotton.

Do you ship bamboo quilt covers across Australia?

Yes — we ship weekdays from our Brisbane warehouse with free standard shipping on orders over $280 across Australia. We also ship to New Zealand and internationally (international shipping fees apply). As an Australian-owned family business since 2013, fast and reliable delivery is something we take seriously.
