Tiamat's sixth studio album, Skeleton Skeletron, gets a fresh compact disc release via Back on Black Records, blending dark gothic rock, catchy melancholy, and heavy metal atmosphere.
Originally following up on their abstract masterwork A Deeper Kind of Slumber, Swedish dark innovators Tiamat refined their signature blend of melancholy, heavy atmosphere, and melodic crunch with Skeleton Skeletron. Led by mastermind Johan Edlund, the record scales new heights of catchy, dark-romantic rock energy, featuring standout cuts like "Brighter Than the Sun" and a haunting rendition of The Rolling Stones’ "Sympathy for the Devil". Back on Black brings this essential piece of late-90s gothic metal history back to the standard CD format.
