The Cardo HJC 4X brings four-rider Bluetooth communication and JBL audio to selected HJC helmets in an integrated installation. It is a practical choice for commuting, touring and smaller riding groups that want voice control, music and conversation with a clean fit on a compatible helmet.
Communication and Audio
- Live Bluetooth Intercom supports up to four riders with wideband audio and automatic reconnection.
- Maximum intercom range is 1.2 km / 0.75 mile under optimal conditions. Terrain, obstructions and interference affect actual range.
- 40mm Sound by JBL speakers deliver music, navigation prompts and calls, with sound profiles available in Cardo Connect.
- Natural Voice Operation lets you use supported functions by speaking.
- Universal Bluetooth connectivity supports communication with other Cardo systems and compatible major-brand headsets.

Weather Protection and Charging
Waterproof construction supports riding in rain. Fast charging provides up to two hours of talk time after 20 minutes, with a full charge taking up to two hours. Charge-while-riding capability supports longer days with a suitable external power source.
Installation and Setup
The system includes the HJC-specific control hardware, JBL speakers, microphone components and installation accessories shown in the kit photo. Follow the supplied installation guide for your helmet and position the speakers directly opposite your ears for the best sound.
Use a smartphone and Cardo Connect for initial activation, audio settings and wireless software updates. Update the unit before first use. After activation, intercom operation does not require a phone.
