Dahlia ‘Romance’ is a beautifully soft decorative dahlia that brings warmth and elegance into the summer garden. Its blooms open in gentle shades of peach, salmon and blush, with subtle shifts in tone that change with the light, creating a naturally glowing effect across the planting. The flowers are full and well-formed, with neatly layered petals that create a rounded, sculpted bloom without feeling overly dense. Each flower typically measures around 10–15 cm across, offering a balanced size that works well both in borders and in floral arrangements.

Reaching approximately 90–120 cm in height, this variety forms a strong, upright plant with excellent stem length, making it especially valuable for cutting gardens. The sturdy stems support the blooms well, ensuring reliable performance throughout the season. From midsummer until the first frosts, ‘Romance’ produces a continuous succession of flowers. It responds well to regular cutting or deadheading, encouraging further blooming and extending its display well into autumn.

In the garden, this dahlia blends effortlessly into soft planting schemes, cottage-style borders and mixed beds where harmony and flow are preferred over strong contrast. When planted in groups, it creates a gentle, luminous wash of colour that feels calm and cohesive. This variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, establishing quickly once planted in spring. It is easy to grow and dependable, making it suitable for both experienced gardeners and those new to dahlias.

For those seeking a refined, warm-toned dahlia that delivers consistent blooms and understated beauty throughout the season, Dahlia ‘Romance’ is a dependable and elegant choice.
