The Exo Terra Cholla Cactus Skeleton is the perfect hide-out for your terrarium, as it offers an incredibly natural look and feel that is directly inspired by nature. This sustainable alternative to real cacti mimics the cholla cactus, a tree-like plant native to the Sonoran Desert in the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico. The cholla cactus grows in thick bushes that form an ideal hiding spot for many reptile species. When threatened by predators or seeking refuge from the hot desert sun, various species of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates take shelter around these bushes, particularly the skeleton, which provides excellent hiding places.
