This specialist mix is designed for problem areas of the garden where the lawn is shaded by fences, shrubs and trees. The grasses have been selected for their particular tolerance of low light levels and their low water requirements, as drought conditions are commonly a feature of shaded areas. Shady Lawn contains a blend of 63% creeping red fescues, 25% chewings fescues, 10% hard fescues and 2% browntop bents. Our lawn grass seed mixes use carefully selected STRI-listed cultivars, with blends to suit both fine ornamental lawns and hard-wearing areas used by children and pets.
