Questions

Is it gold or gold-plated?
Gold-plated. It is stainless steel with 18K gold PVD plating: a thin, hard layer of gold colour bonded to the steel, not gold all the way through. The silver option is stainless steel with silver PVD plating.

Is the photo printed or engraved?
Engraved. A laser marks the photo into the metal, so it is not a sticker or a print.

Which photo works best?
A sharp, bright photo where the faces are big and not cropped.
