Kintsugi handmade porcelain bowl, a very meaningful present. Kintsugi philosophy says that breakage and mending are valuable parts of a past which should not be hidden. Wounds and healing are part of our history, part of who we are. Every beautiful thing has an history to be shown.

TECHNIQUES & MATERIALS

This Kintsugi is my personal adaptation of the japanese technique. I use 22 carat gold leaf to treat every bowl that comes out damaged from my kiln.
