Inspiration
The Beadelle Chandelier started from the bead curtains hung in the doorways of old Mediterranean houses, long strands of colored clay beads that swayed whenever someone walked through. We gathered those strands into a rounded column at the center, tier over tier, and spread a ring of curved arms around it, each one holding a small pleated shade. Below the arms hang painted drops in soft pinks, blues and greens, like the beads that came loose and were tied back on. Lit, the shades glow in a circle around the beaded core.

What size room does it suit?
At 80cm/31.5″ wide and 105cm/41.3″ tall, it suits a dining room over a table for six to eight, a foyer, or a large living room or primary bedroom. Where people walk underneath, a ceiling of about 9 ft or higher works best.
Are bulbs included?
Yes. All 12 E12 or E14 bulbs are included, in warm 3000K light. This is a small candelabra base, not a standard E26 screw base, so use the same type when you replace them.
Does it need to be hardwired?
Yes. It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box. Because the ceramic beads and drops add weight, we recommend a licensed electrician check that the box is rated to support the fixture.
How do I clean the beads?
Turn it off and let it cool, then dust the beads and drops with a soft brush or feather duster. Avoid pulling on the bead strands.
