The Zanello Table Lamp started from a pointed winter hat with a little pom-pom swinging off the end of its curled tip, the kind children wear sledding on the first snow day. We kept the tall cone, the curl at the top and the round ball at the end of it, and set the whole hat on a short, sturdy base so it sits upright on the table. Each one comes in a single bright color, top to bottom. Lit, the light spills out from under the brim onto the table, like a lantern at the edge of a snowy path.
