The Brinley Table Lamp started from an old beach umbrella planted in the sand, its edge cut in soft scallops and a bright red ball fixed at the very tip so you could find it from the water. We kept the scalloped canopy, the red ball and the thin pole, and gave it a low, rounded foot like a small mound of sand painted in a seaside color. The canopy is clear and textured, like sea spray caught on its surface. Lit, it throws a warm, sparkling glow onto the table beneath it.
