Inspiration
The Celandine Table Lamp started from a small bunch of wildflowers tied with a ribbon and set down on a smooth stone by the shore, the bow trailing loose at both ends. We kept all three pieces: a rounded stone at the bottom, a slim stem with a ribbon knotted around it, and a shade pieced together from small squares of shell picked up along the same beach. Each part stays simple so the bow can be the detail you notice. Lit, the shell squares glow one by one like light on wet sand.
Natural travertine and shell
The base is natural travertine and the shade is made from natural shell. The stone's pores and color bands, and the color and markings of each shell square, differ on every lamp, so no two look exactly the same.
