Inspiration

The Pellaro Candle Warmer Lamp started from a jar of honey left on a sunny windowsill, its top slowly softening in the afternoon warmth until the whole kitchen smelled of it. We wanted that same slow, quiet warmth for a candle: a small light leaning over the jar the way the sun leans over the sill. The shade is made of two soft rounds stacked like drops of honey, held out on a thin curved arm above a round wooden stand. Lit, it glows over the candle while the scent fills the room.

Requires a GU10 halogen bulb (not included)

This lamp warms and melts candle wax using a 35W or 50W GU10 halogen bulb. LED bulbs do not generate enough heat, so this lamp cannot function as a candle warmer with an LED bulb installed. The candle is also not included. Please purchase a GU10 halogen bulb separately before use.

How does a candle warmer lamp work?

Set a jar candle on the wooden base, take the lid off and turn the lamp on. A 35W or 50W GU10 halogen bulb warms the top layer of wax from above, so the candle gives off its scent without lighting the wick. Turn the rotary dimmer knob to set the brightness.

Is a bulb included?

No. Please buy a 35W or 50W GU10 halogen bulb separately. GU10 is a twist-lock base, not a standard E26 screw base. LED bulbs don't give off enough heat to melt wax, so use halogen only.

Which candles can I use?

Use a jar candle that sits flat on the 16cm/6.3″ base and leaves space below the shade. Remove the lid before turning the lamp on. Candles are not included.
