The Bellorin Floor Lamp started from a single stalk of lily of the valley, the small spring flower that grows in shady garden corners. Its stem rises straight from a pair of long leaves, then bends over at the top so its little white bells hang down in a row, each one turned slightly away from the next. We kept that shape at full height: the leaves at the foot, the long stem, the curve and the bells. Lit, the bells glow one after another along the arc, like the flower caught in the last light of the day.
