Inspiration
The Driselle Table Lamp started from a small wooden cabin at the end of winter, with icicles hanging from the edge of its roof just as they begin to melt, and a pile of smooth stones stacked by the door. We set a round, shallow roof at the top with a row of drops hanging from its rim, and stacked rounded shapes one on another below. A single ball sits on the peak like a chimney cap. Lit, the drops catch the light the way melting ice does in late afternoon sun.
