The Brasselle Wall Sconce started from the cabin lights in old railway sleeper cars, where a pair of frosted tubes was clamped to the wall by one metal band, lighting the ceiling and the berth at once. We kept that plain arrangement: two rounded tubes running up and down from a single collar, with the band set slightly forward of the wall. Nothing else is added. Switched on, the light runs along the wall in both directions the way it did in those narrow compartments.
