Inspiration
The Norvemi Table Lamp started from the porcini mushrooms picked in the woods each autumn, short and sturdy, with a broad cap and a thick stem that swells at the foot. We kept those squat proportions instead of stretching the lamp taller, so the cap stays nearly as wide as the lamp is high. The stem narrows just under the cap and spreads out again at the bottom, the same way a porcini grips the ground. Lit, the whole cap glows evenly, like a mushroom held up to the light.
