Inspiration
The Melvora Table Lamp started from the old glass fishing floats that drifted ashore and ended up on windowsills, round, tinted and uneven on the surface. We paired one with a short, dome-topped post like the mooring posts along a wooden dock, where a float might have been left to rest. The globe sits on top almost like it was set down there by hand. When it is lit, the dimpled surface breaks the light up the way sun moves through water.
