Pimlet Table Lamp • Docos

Inspiration

The Pimlet Table Lamp started from the toadstools in children’s picture books and the round, glossy toys of the 1970s, where everything had soft edges and a cheerful pattern. We drew a short mushroom with a wide, rounded cap on a tapered stem, and ran a band of little hearts around the rim the way spots ring a storybook toadstool. The finish is smooth and glossy, in soft candy colors or black. Lit, the cap glows gently and the hearts stand out around its edge.
