Inspiration
The Eversham Wall Sconce started from ribbon-tied bouquets and the little brass bows on old French dressing-room mirrors. We bent a slim brass arm up from a round walnut plate and tied a cast bow where it turns, as if a ribbon were holding the stem. A turned walnut collar carries a small shade with a scalloped hem and a single sprig of white flowers. Lit, the shade glows soft cream and the sprig shows like a pressed flower held up to the light.

How high should I mount it?
Beside a bed, place the backplate center about 120–140cm/47–55″ from the floor so the shade sits just above shoulder height when seated. Beside a dressing table or in a hallway, mount it around 150–165cm/59–65″.
What kind of light does it give?
Soft, warm ambient light. The off-white fabric shade glows evenly and the flower sprig shows through it, with light going up through the open top and down past the arm. It suits bedside and accent lighting rather than bright task light.
Which bulb should I use?
A warm-light bulb is included. The socket takes a small candelabra base, E12 or E14, not a standard E26. For replacements use an E12 or E14 LED bulb at 3000K; LED keeps the fabric shade cool.
How do I care for the brass and the shade?
Wipe the brass bow and arm with a soft dry cloth; brass may darken naturally over time, which is part of its look. Dust the fabric shade with a soft brush or lint roller and spot clean only.
