Inspiration
The Fallowmere Floor Lamp started from old English country houses, where a tall standard lamp stood beside the armchair and its fabric shade carried the same ferns and leaves as the garden outside the window. We kept that pairing: a slim wooden stem with a single metal band, and a wide shade covered in pale ferns on a soft green ground. Lit, the shade glows green-gold and the fern pattern shows through the fabric.

Will it fit beside my sofa or armchair?
Yes. It stands 155cm/61″ tall on a 25cm/9.8″ round base, so it fits in the corner beside a sofa, armchair or bed. The 40cm/15.7″ shade needs a little clearance from the wall.
Is it good for reading?
Yes. With the shade bottom at about seated head height, it puts warm light down onto a book or lap beside an armchair. For larger rooms, pair it with ceiling light.
What kind of light does it give?
Warm, softly tinted light. The fabric shade diffuses the bulb and glows green-gold, with most light falling down through the open bottom and some going up through the top.
Which bulb should I use?
A warm-light bulb is included. For replacements use an E26 or E27 LED A19 bulb at 3000K; LED keeps the fabric shade cool.
