Inspiration
The Wexley Pendant Lamp started from the small stacks of river stones people balance on a shoreline, three smooth pebbles resting one on another. We kept that stack in travertine and hung it between the cord and a wide, low shade shaped like the brim of a hat. Under the brim sits a short band of shell mosaic, small square tiles laid like the inlay on an old jewelry box. Lit, the shell band glows warm beneath the brim, while the stone stack above stays in soft shadow.

Is the shade made of real wood?
No. The shade is metal with a wood-grain finish, in walnut or oak tone. It keeps the look of wood while staying light and easy to wipe clean.
Which finish should I choose?
Walnut Grain is darker and suits mid-century and warm wood interiors. Oak Grain is lighter and fits Japandi and coastal rooms. White Shell glows evenly, while Natural Mixed Shell shows pink, cream and honey tones.
How many do I need, and how high should it hang?
At 32cm/12.6″ wide, one suits a small round dining table or breakfast nook; over a kitchen island, use two or three spaced about 75–90cm/30–36″ apart. Hang the bottom about 75–90cm/30–36″ above the table or counter.
What kind of light does it give?
A warm downlight. The metal shade directs light onto the table below, while the shell band glows softly around the bulb. A 3000K bulb is included; for replacements use an E26 or E27 LED bulb.
