Inspiration
The Rothmere Chandelier started from soap bubbles drifting together in the air, round shapes that gather into a cluster without lining up in any fixed order. We covered each glass globe in thin pieces of natural shell, then hung them at different heights on their own fine cables, so they settle into a loose, rounded bunch. The shell has a pearly, crackled surface that changes from one globe to the next. Lit, every sphere glows softly from within, and the cluster reads as one large cloud of light.

Which size should I choose?
The 7-light, 45cm/17.7″ suits a round dining table up to about 120cm/47″ or a bedroom. The 13-light, 68cm/26.8″ suits a 150–180cm/5–6ft dining table or a living room. The 19-light, 75cm/29.5″ is for a large dining table, a foyer or a stairwell with a high ceiling.
How high should I hang it?
Over a dining table, hang the lowest globe about 75–90cm/30–36″ above the tabletop. In a foyer or walkway, keep at least 2.1m/7ft of clearance underneath. The cables adjust to set the height.
What kind of light does it give?
Soft, warm ambient light. Each shell-covered globe diffuses its light, so the cluster glows evenly with no visible light source. It lights the room around it rather than a single task area.
Does it need bulbs?
No. Each globe has a built-in LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. Total power is 76W, 120W or 168W depending on the size. The shell is natural, so pattern and tone vary slightly from globe to globe.
