Inspiration
The Renvik Table Lamp started from the turned wooden vases and candlesticks found in old Scandinavian farmhouses, where one piece of wood is shaped into a low, rounded belly and a narrow neck. We kept that outline for the base and set a small tapered shade on top, the way an old oil lamp carries its glass chimney. The shade is made from shell laid in overlapping pieces, in a wide, short shape or a tall, slim one. Switched on, either shade becomes a small warm lantern above the dark wood.

Which shade should I choose?
Both shades are natural shell. The wide shade is shorter with a broader spread of light, suited to a nightstand or side table. The tall shade is slimmer and sits higher, a good fit for a narrow shelf or desk corner.
Will it fit on my nightstand?
Yes. It is a small table lamp: Dia 19cm/7.5″ × H 35cm/13.8″ with the wide shade, or Dia 17cm/6.7″ × H 40cm/15.7″ with the tall shade, on a 15cm/5.9″ base that fits most nightstands, shelves and desks.
What kind of light does it give?
Warm ambient light for a bedroom or reading corner. The shade glows and spreads light around the lamp, with more light falling down onto the table through the open bottom. It is not a bright task light.
Which bulb should I use?
A warm-light bulb is included. For replacements use a compact E26 or E27 LED bulb, 3000K, up to 16W, small enough to sit inside the shade.
