Built Around the Bowl
The Assistent Original works differently from a conventional planetary stand mixer. The 7-liter stainless steel bowl rotates while the dough roller and dough knife work from above, leaving the bowl open so you can add ingredients and watch the mixture develop without repeatedly stopping the machine.
The dough roller is the signature Ankarsrum tool, applying steady pressure against the side of the bowl as dough develops. The included dough hook gives you an alternative kneading style when working with heavier or denser bread doughs.
Serious Capacity for Bread and Everyday Baking
The 7-liter bowl handles both small recipes and substantial baking projects, with capacity for up to 5 kg, or approximately 11 pounds, of dough. The 600-watt motor and motor-feedback system provide the sustained performance needed for everyday mixing and demanding dough work.
The roller also works beyond bread, handling batters and cookie dough as well as whipping cream and egg whites.
