A hand-woven rectangular rattan tray with raised handles and a framed edge, designed to gather everyday essentials into one textured, purposeful arrangement.
Ideal for: Coastal Transitional, relaxed Traditional, and Modern Organic interiors that pair woven accents with linen, wood, and simple tableware.
Key Features
- Hand-Woven Rattan: A tightly woven rattan surface adds fine texture across the base and sides. The visible pattern gives the tray decorative interest even when it holds only a few everyday pieces.
- Rectangular Shape with Raised Handles: An elongated base sits within low sides, with handles rising at either end. This profile frames an arrangement and provides a clear outline on a tabletop or kitchen counter.
- Warm Brown or Whitewash: Choose the deeper brown finish for warmth or Whitewash for a lighter effect. Both retain the visual character of the woven strands, making the finish a meaningful styling choice.
- Generous Twenty-Inch Length: At 20 inches long and 14.75 inches wide, the tray offers room for a considered grouping of cups, napkins, or decorative objects. It is sold individually in the selected finish.
- Everyday Tabletop Organization: Use the tray to bring separate objects into a single arrangement on a sideboard, console, or coffee table. Its raised perimeter helps the display read as a defined area within the larger surface.
- Relaxed Texture with a Defined Outline: The woven material softens smooth furniture finishes, while the rectangular frame keeps the grouping structured. It works equally well with pared-back accessories or more traditional table settings.

Design & Atmosphere
The rectangular form makes this rattan tray a useful starting point for a tabletop arrangement. Low sides frame the woven base, while raised handles give each end a gentle lift. It has enough definition to make a small group of objects feel intentional without hiding their shapes.
Across the base, the tight weave creates a pattern that remains visible between the objects placed on it. Warm Brown emphasizes the depth of the strands and their shadows; Whitewash offers a paler finish that feels lighter beside painted furniture and neutral textiles.
The 20-inch length suits a coffee table, sideboard, or a generous bedside surface. Check the available depth before placing it on a narrow console, and leave some space around the handles so the outline is easy to appreciate.
Pair the brown finish with darker wood, clear glass, and simple white ceramics for a balanced arrangement. Whitewash works naturally with pale upholstery, linen, and lighter finishes, while the same woven pattern keeps both options connected to relaxed coastal and traditional rooms.
Whether it gathers a few morning essentials or anchors a decorative display, this tray adds texture while giving the surface a clear purpose. Its appeal comes from that combination of everyday practicality and a familiar woven material that sits comfortably among the things you already use.
The Curator’s Styling Tip
Keep one section of the woven base visible rather than filling every corner. A small vase, a pair of cups, or a folded napkin can be enough to create a balanced arrangement while allowing the tray itself to remain part of the display.
Bring woven texture and a clear sense of order to your tabletop with a rectangular rattan tray in your chosen finish.
