Do You Wish You Could Keep the Memories Without Keeping All the Stuff?

Preserve the stories behind your most meaningful belongings without feeling like you have to hold on to every single item.

If you have boxes of family keepsakes, inherited belongings, or sentimental items you've been holding on to for years, you know how difficult it can be to decide what to keep and what to let go.

Sometimes, it's not the item itself that matters most. It's the person who gave it to you, the memories connected to it, or the family story you don't want to forget.

And when you're downsizing, those decisions can be especially difficult because letting go of an item can feel like letting go of the memory that goes with it.

The Right-Sized Living Memory Journal™ gives you a place to preserve those memories and stories so you can make decisions about your belongings without worrying that you'll forget what made them special.

With simple writing prompts, space for photographs, and dedicated pages for family stories and traditions, you can create a personal collection of memories that you can enjoy today and share with your children and grandchildren someday.

How the Memory Journal Works

The Right-Sized Living Memory Journal™ is a printable PDF that you can download and use at home.

As you work through your sentimental belongings, choose an item that holds a special memory.

Take a photograph, write down its story, and record why it matters to you.

You can document the people, places, and experiences connected to your belongings, along with the family stories and traditions you want to preserve.

Once you've recorded those memories, you can decide whether to keep the physical item, pass it along to someone else, or let it go.

And if you decide to keep it? That's perfectly fine, too!

This journal isn't about getting rid of everything. It's about giving yourself another way to preserve what matters most.

Why You'll Love It

Your memories deserve to be preserved, but that doesn't mean you need to keep every belonging connected to them.

This journal gives you a way to hold on to the stories, people, and special moments that make your belongings meaningful, even when you decide it's time to let the physical items go.

Whether you're downsizing your home, working through inherited belongings, or simply wanting to document your family's history, you'll be creating something meaningful that you can look back on and share with the people you love.

And instead of leaving your children boxes of belongings without knowing why they mattered, you can give them the stories that make those belongings special.

Because sometimes, the story is the most valuable thing we can pass on.
