Because the denim is 100% cotton, expect nice fading after a few months, depending on how you wash them. Wash cold and hang dry to slow that down and hold the color longer. Machine drying will shrink cotton denim more than air drying will.

On sizing: order your normal waist. The seat is fitted and the thigh has room, so if you are between sizes and carry more through the thigh, the straight cut gives you space without going up.
