This is what a PROJECT: REBIRTH survivor looks like.

Steve Rogers was one of the few to survive the bleeding-edge experimentation associated with forcefully evolving humans to a state of super-humanity.

He survived horrific DNA restructuring, thousands of injections, and seventeen hours in a full-body Vita-Ray projector. After the rigors, torture and trauma, he emerged as Captain America, the very first manufactured super-person.
