Description

The Vexed Long Shank Mutsu Circle is a purpose-built light-tackle bait hook that brings two proven patterns together in one design. It pairs the fish-friendly, corner-of-the-jaw hook-up of a circle hook with the control, leverage and easy handling of a long shank - a combination built specifically for finesse bait fishing rather than adapted from a heavier offshore pattern.

The result is better hook-up rates, far fewer deeply hooked fish, and a hook that is quicker to bait and much easier to remove. The forged, ultra-sharp high-tensile steel drives home cleanly on soft-mouthed fish while still holding up when a better-than-average fish turns up on light gear. Vexed designed it around whiting and other delicate inshore species, though it is not limited to those - it is equally at home on bream and general estuary and beach bait fishing with worms, squid strips, prawns and pippies.
