Description

Penn call the Supremacy their most advanced rod range yet, and the blank is where that shows. SLSX Nano graphite blends 30T and 40T carbon across more than forty individual carbon sheets, producing a much denser internal construction than traditional graphite, while Flex Joint Construction is designed to eliminate flat spots through the blank and sharpen the way the rod loads and recovers. Each model in the range has been refined on the water for a specific technique rather than drawn from one generic taper.

The componentry matches the blank: Fuji SiC K guides with frames chosen to suit each casting or jigging model, carbon-wrap reinforced guide bindings, premium Fuji reel seats and high-density contoured EVA grips, finished in black and gold. The spin range runs from light and heavy soft bait work through to heavy casting and jigging in saltwater, inshore and offshore, though it is certainly not limited to those applications.

Note that the 601JSPMH and 641SPM are one-piece Jig Spin models - short, powerful jigging blanks fished with a spinning reel - while the rest of the range is two-piece.
