When the old miller divides up what he owns, his youngest son gets nothing but a cat. But this cat asks for a pair of boots and a sack, and he already has a plan. This traditional classic, loved for generations, takes your child from the mill all the way to the king's carriage, by way of a river, wheat fields as far as the eye can see and the castle of an ogre who can turn himself into any animal at all.

There's nothing to press and no choices to make: your child slides the card into the cube's mouth, and the story unfolds on its own, on the speaker or through headphones. They watch the cat bring gifts of game to the king "from my lord the Marquis of Carabas", cry for help by the river, and convince the whole land that his master is a great lord.

Beneath the adventure sits a real little comprehension workout: following a trick, keeping track of who knows what and who believes what, guessing the next move. And when the cat comes face to face with the ogre for his boldest trick of all, your child holds their breath, bursts out laughing, then asks for it "again!"
