From the moment we laid eyes on Jan's pots years ago we knew some would one day make it into our collection.  

The culture of wood firing is different in every region.  For China it's mild and subdued, America is often loud and in your face, but Czech... Czech wood firing speaks to your soul.   

Not only in Jan's work(but definitely in his) you have more reserved earth tones but no fear of the flame or flashing that you'll sometimes see on cautious wood firings.  This will of course deepen as the pot continues to patina and get darker with more contrast over time. 

In addition to that they are incredibly balanced, well proportioned, thin to the point of fine, and small enough for even the most dedicated gongfu tea drinker. 

We will be using these pots,
not just for years...

but decades to come.
