We first saw this pot in a wood-fired mixed batch we bought from our friends in Qinzhou.  Something about their clay and craftsmanship made the final part quite remarkable from the batch, so we had to put in a custom order of a few more in our favorite soft, matte black finish.

With an easy-to-lift lid ridged on the outside to allow it to be picked up without burning the fingers, a wide back handle, and a quick-pouring spout, it delivers on all fronts; design, utility, and beauty.  The Fanggu style is also a nice classic style that we tend to gravitate toward.
