The Pink Paintings explore how the selected pigments interact with the concept of the Pink Space of the Personal. The format mirrors the dimensions of the Pink Book, establishing a direct connection between the two mediums. Quotations from the manuscript are added to the canvas before the painting process begins, blending the written word with visual expression. This transforms the Pink Paintings into a Pink Space of their own, where personal experience, vulnerability, and growth unfold through the interplay of colour, texture, and meaning.
