Condition: Used, new pins including the newest Medeco security pins

This custom Medeco M3 KIK cutaway is pickable and widely exposes the rotating pins for a great view into the pin stack. Being an M3, it also has the interactive finger pin element in the bottom, which has been specifically exposed for viewing. It is built on a used core fitted with a new set of pins, including the newest Medeco security pins.

The core stays functional for controlled picking, making it a strong option for collectors, instructors, and pickers who want to study the M3 mechanism up close. As with any cutaway lock, light tension and controlled use are recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
