i04 OLAVI – Northern blue is a dark navy blue paint shade with classic dark petrol undertones. It is a very natural and calming color on interior surfaces. This shade evokes memories of the dim skies and cozy darkness of the North. i04 OLAVI - Northern blue gives walls and ceilings a soft, light-reflecting matt finish.

This calming petrol hue works well painted on half a wall, but also makes a bold statement for an entire room. Painted on half a wall or as a slim strip, dark blue works beautifully with warm whites such as 004 JOAN, or this versatile shade is also a perfect partner for cold tones. i04 OLAVI makes dark wood tones glow and gives a sense of structure in spaces with lots of large, light surfaces. Evoking the mystique of nature, Northern blue is a wonderful complement to patinated surfaces, bringing a soulful vibe to spirited modern spaces. i04 OLAVI is part of the Cover Story x Iittala color collection.
