The Abingdon Headboard is one of our most popular designs. This unique design blends a strong outer frame with white crackle finish ceramic finials which are hand-spun into their brass nests with an ornate long petal flower cap, adding that softness and class to an all-round crowd pleaser of an authentic Victorian headboard design.

Hand cast at our Cornwall foundry and made with all the traditional fixings you would expect from an authentic re-production.

The Abingdon Headboard can also be manufactured as a bedstead, bed surround, four-poster bed or as a bedstead with no foot end. You can order your Abingdon Headboard in any of our house metal colour options or in any colour not shown starting from an extra £100. If you would like to swap brass details for nickel on your bed, our team would be happy to personalise it for you starting from an extra £100, depending on design and brass elements included.

We cast our beds and headboards to exacting standards using time-honoured skills and craftsmanship. Every bed and headboard is made individually to order, numbered, and signed off by one of our craftsmen. With The Cornish Bed Company, you can be confident that your headboard will last lifetimes and will become an antique in the future.
