The Abingdon is one of our most popular antique four posters with delicate brass details and looks incredibly regal.

Offering 2” side posts, exceptional strong framework including our signature knuckle joint which is everlasting.

This victorian metal bed frame is then softened with white crackle finish ceramics which are hand-spun into its brass fixing with an ornate lower brass petal.

The Abingdon Four Poster can also be manufactured as a bedstead, bed surround, headboard or as a bedstead with no foot end. You can order your Abingdon Four Poster in any of our house metal colour options or in any colour not shown starting from an extra £100. If you would like to swap brass details for nickel on your bed, our team would be happy to personalise it for you starting from an extra £100, depending on design and brass elements included. We cast our beds to exacting standards using time-honoured skills and craftsmanship.

Hand cast at our Cornwall foundry and made with all the traditional fixings you would expect from an authentic re-production.

Every bed is made individually to order, numbered, and signed off by one of our craftsmen. With The Cornish Bed Company, you can be confident that your Four Poster will last lifetimes and will become an antique in the future.
