Outback Emergency Drinking Water Filter System

When water isn’t safe, nothing else matters. The Outback Emergency Drinking Water Filter System gives you clean drinking water without power, pumps, or guesswork. It’s a gravity-fed, 4-stage system built for emergency preparedness, off-grid living, disaster response, and camp use.

FEMA and the Red Cross recommend storing at least one gallon of water per person per day for emergencies. This system can produce up to 24 gallons per day, so you can cover drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene for a household when supplies are limited.

Pour collected water into the upper chamber and let gravity do the work. In minutes, filtered water collects in the lower chamber, ready to drink.

What it does well

The Outback system is extensively tested for high-level protection. It reduces:

  • Bacteria up to 99.9999% (including E. coli)
  • Viruses up to 99.99% (meets EPA standards for virus reduction)
  • Cysts up to 99.99% (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium)

It also reduces pesticides, herbicides, chlorine, and organic waste, helping improve taste and odor when you’re filtering questionable sources.

Product features

  • High-capacity output: Produces up to 24 gallons per day
  • Long filter life: Filters up to 1,800 gallons total before replacement (or 12 months, whichever comes first)
  • True gravity operation: No electricity, batteries, or pumping required
  • 4-stage filtration system:
    • Pre-filter net (catches large particles)
    • Pre-filter sleeve (captures smaller debris)
    • Nano pre-filter (targets tiny contaminants)
    • Multi-media filtration cartridge (final polishing stage)
  • Simple, field-ready setup: Pour water in the top chamber, collect clean water in the bottom chamber
  • Compact for storage and transport: Assembled size 12 in x 12 in x 24 in, about 9 lb assembled
  • Large chamber capacity: 2-gallon upper chamber and 5-gallon lower chamber

Built for real emergencies, not just weekend trips

This is a practical system for storm season, boil notices, and long outages. It’s also an easy fit for cabin life, RV travel, and base-camp use. Stock spare replacement filters so you can keep producing clean water for the long haul.
