24 × 24 in (60.96 × 60.96 cm): Of all the McDonald’s characters, Clara chose Grimace to paint. And after learning more about him, I think she chose the right one. Grimace is purple, playful, a little different, and here is my favorite part, nobody really knows exactly what he is. Even McDonald’s keeps it a mystery. McDonald’s Corporation

And maybe that is why I see a little Clara in him. People always want to put us in boxes. Give us labels. Explain who we are and what we should be able to do.

But what if you don’t fit in the box? Grimace doesn’t seem worried about explaining himself. He is just Grimace. And Clara is just Clara. And you are just you!

You don’t need to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. Just be you. Purple, different, happy, weird, whatever. Be you.
