Xtal Acrux is a compact, rechargeable cordless table lamp by Ambientec, designed by Ryuichi Kozeki. Its crystal glass shade begins as a solid block, cut and polished by skilled artisans to catch light from different angles.
Ambientec's proprietary double-sided LEDs emit light in all directions, while an aluminum reflector diffuses the glow into a shifting shimmer. Place it on a dinner table, bedside surface, or balcony table to bring warm light to an everyday setting.
Each piece is handcrafted, so subtle differences may occur even within the same model.
Choose LOW, MID, or HIGH to adjust the brightness while retaining a warm 2000 K color temperature. In battery power mode, continuous lighting time varies with the setting:
Use battery power mode for cordless lighting, or USB power mode for continuous illumination while the charging stand is connected to power.
USB charging takes approximately 3 hours.
A USB AC adapter is not included. Ambientec's separately sold USB AC adapter (model AMB-AC02) is compatible.
The lamp body has water resistance equivalent to IPX6, providing protection against powerful water jets from any direction. This does not indicate protection against immersion. The charging stand and USB AC adapter are not waterproof; keep them dry.
Founded in 2009 by Yoshinori Kuno, Ambientec brings precision engineering from professional underwater photography equipment to portable lighting. The company combines high-quality components with refined design, creating rechargeable lamps designed for lasting use.
